Down on the Farm....
We spent the day at Shamrock Farms, which is just over an hour south of Phoenix. We got to pet some calves, watch cows being milked, and learned all about how the cows are taken care of, and the dairy products are made. Since we primarily buy this brand, the kids thought it was pretty interesting to see all that happens before it ends up in our refrigerator. Their favorite part was the free bottle of flavored milk we each got at the end of the tour....and the ice cream (also made by the dairy) that we got for the ride home. 20 Feet high bottle of milk shaped play structure.
