California Trip Part 2....Day 3

On Day 3, Rob had a business meeting so the kids and I headed into LA for a day at Knott's Berry Farm.  We had heard how unbusy Knotts is on a schoolday so we were looking forward to no lines, etc.  We picked one of the worst days to go... at least 20 schoolbusses of kids were there for field trips.  So, we didn't get to do some of the rides we wanted to because of the long lines.  Also, several of the rides were not running.  We still managed to have lots of fun though.

The boys had so much fun on this silly little ride!  They were so cute.. people standing around were laughing at them.

This was Drew's step into thrill rides.  My heart almost stopped when it was spinning in the air.  He really enjoyed it though.

They loved this ride so much, we had to go back for a second time.

Drew and Lys decided to give the SideWinder a try.  It's a roller coaster where the little cars spin around as they fly around the tracks.

I think they enjoyed it!

There was actually a video camera in their car so we bought the video of their ride.  If you want to see it, visit our website:  www.endterfamily.com  The fun thing is that they had no idea they were being videod so they were pretty surprised when they got off the ride and saw the video.  That website also has a link to photos from our first California trip in March (in case, photos from California Part 2 just weren't enough for you!).

That was our California trip in a nutshell.  It was a quick trip due to other commitments we had.  But it was definitely worth it since we all had a great time.
