A Lazy Sunday

Since it has been so hot outside, we've been spending most of our time inside.  Sunday morning we went to play Quidditch at the church across town.  We stopped for a cold treat on the way home (most of our trips out involve ice cream, frozen custard or milk shakes in some form!).  The kids found ways to kill time the rest of the day....

Lexi and I went shopping for some new clothes for her.  It was nice to have some time out with her on our own.  As the middle child, I worry that she gets stuck between the independant older ones and the very dependant younger ones.  She picked out some really cute things.

Lys did what she loves to do.... write.  She can spend her days reading and writing.

Drew was chatting with friends in Colorado online.  This is one of his favorite ways to spend time.

Austin and Adam love to play Guitar Hero.  They are really good at it.  While we were at Disneyland they started playing in one of the Guitar Hero displays and had many adults and older teens quite impressed with their skills.  I think that means they practice too much!   Gotta love the fact that Adam can't play without his tongue wrapped around the side corner of his mouth
