Lunch at the Rainforest Cafe

Lexi, Austin and Adam each received a free kid's meal at the Rainforest Cafe for participating in the library summer reading program.  We had never been there so we decided to make the trip to the other side of town for lunch.  Since moving here we have come to realize that EVERYTHING is on the other side of town from us!  That's wonderful considering the current gas prices and the fact that we have two less-than-fuel-efficient SUVs!

The kids loved the animal theme of the restaurant.  This frog was one of their favorites.

Our table was next to the elephants that would "stampede" during the thunderstorm that occured about every ten minutes.

Adam was getting a little irritated waiting for his food.  It took almost 30 minutes so we all were pretty hungry.  The food was actually quite disappointing;  overpriced and very processed.  Overall it was fun to experience the restaurant though.
