A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
On Friday, we took a field trip to a pumpkin patch. It was kind of cold and cloudy; perfect fall pumpkin patch weather! They had fun in the hay maze.  And the petting zoo....though Austin was a bit weary of the goats.  I told the kids to watch their step, and Lexi took the instructions quite seriously!  They got to learn about bees. Drew and Lys were asked to dress up in the beekeeper outfit. Drew couldn't seem to get his shoes through the outfit.    Then they went through the corn maze. It was quite simple...only one way in and one way out....so we didn't lose anyone!  Each of them got to pick out a little pumpkin which we are going to paint.    |
