Out For a Walk
| Yesterday was about 65 degrees so we figured it was a great day to pick up some sandwiches and head to the State Park that is a few miles from the house. We've driven by it almost daily but had never stopped in. By the time we headed over though, the sun was going down and it was getting very cold. So, we nixed the picnic idea and just went for a walk. It is a very pretty area to walk in, plus it is home to many bird species including the Great Blue Heron. We saw them a few times but they always hid away too fast to get a photo. The kids thought it was neat to see them though. |
